There’s a community of women spread across the US that are changing the way women are empowered globally. By selling Sseko products and sharing the Sseko story, these women are earning an additional scholarship for the women on our team in Uganda! They’re called the Sseko Fellows, heard of them? One of our Sseko Fellows just hit Adventuress Status (that means she sold $10,000 worth of Sseko, in ONE month!) and she’s earned herself a FREE trip to Uganda to meet the team!
Steph Martin is a wife of 11 years to one amazing guy and a full time momma to two wonderful kids living in East Earl, Pennsylvania. She owns a hand lettering business on Etsy…and every once in awhile still plays hair stylist. And of course, she’s a Sseko Fellow!
Today we are introducing the Brave Necklace, the newest way to wear your story. Available in two lengths and three styles, this necklace will serve as a reminder of where you have been, inspiration for where you are going and a symbol of what lies within you. Piece by piece, each unique Brave Necklace will tell your story.
Meet our brilliant-minded, justice-seeking friend, Lindsey Low! She is a true academic, approaching life and work with a curious mind and passion for change. A lifelong learner, Lindsey embodies the tenet of our Sseko Manifesto, ‘read good books and ask hard questions’! We hope you’re as captivated by her dreams, passions, and pixie cut as we are!
Meet The Ace
Haley Johnsen is a singer-songwriter from Beaverton, Oregon. You may recognize her from Season 11 of American Idol, but this lady’s come a long way since then! In fact, she just released her debut EP, Through the Blue. Singing has always been a part of her life, but it wasn’t until a few years ago that she decided to dig deep and find the words to go along with the melodies she was hearing in her head. As Haley puts it, “I have a knack for teaching children, an uninhibited desire to explore the world around me, and a constant desire to be mindful and intentional in all aspects of my life.” We think you’ll be just as inspired by her as we are, so we asked her a few questions to share with you!
